AUTHOR BIOGRAPHY: Ashley Alquine was born on February 6, 1965 in San Diego California. She started writing poetry at the age of nine and has had a passion for it ever since. She now resides in Phoenix Arizona and is married with four daughters. She became involved in the poetry scene in Phoenix six years ago and has been published in a couple of small poetry journals including La Chuparosa. She is currently the vice president of the Phoenix Poetry Society, and the secretary of the Glendale Poetry Society. _Sparrow in the Snow_ is her first book of poetry.
