About the Author:

Tangelika Bolen, a Gainesville, Florida resident. She’s a 36-year-old single 
parent to a beautiful three-year-old daughter. She’s also an actress, 
playwright, and set designer for a local production company. Although 
Tangelika has performed and toured with various local plays, she still enjoy 
working behind the scenes. It wasn't until after meeting people through 
theater where she rekindled her long lost love for writing. Tangelika 
currently works full time as a CSR in the Insurance industry, however that 
doesn't stop her from finding time to curl up with her laptop to produce the 
entertainment fluff that we love so much to read. Destiny may be her first 
but certainly not her last—she looks forward to a new future in creative

A brief summary of the novel:

Sometimes our destiny takes us farther than we could ever imagine in order to 
get us where we're meant to be. "Destiny" tells the tale about a young girl 
named Teresa Tucker who dreams of getting married, yet she's caught up in a 
non-committing relationship. She and Delvin, her so call boyfriend, continues 
to cheat and play games with each other's heart. Feeling undeserving to be 
loved—her life takes a plunge for disaster once she allows herself to get 
caught up in the world of exotic dancing. Borderline alcoholic she drinks in 
order to cope with her new job. 

     Running from pillow to post, Teresa mingles and makes new friends, which 
falls out of her life tragically one by one. After witnessing the ending of a 
murder scene, Teresa flees to her mothers for safety and comfort. She 
discovers that someone has placed a terrible spell on her life, and is 
walking around with her name in their shoes. She relies on the advice and 
protection of a Voodoo priestess who also tells her she's getting married 
soon. 

     This romantic suspense novel is a real page-turner. You’ll find yourself 
on a roller coaster ride as it keeps you hanging on the edge. The impulsive 
drama throughout will have you laughing one minute and tearing another. The 
entire time you are reading—you won’t want to put it down.
