BOOK BY DR. JERRY SHIELDS

Dr Jerry Shields has produced an in-depth study of the most famous Civil War
Correspondent, "George Alfred Townsend" who used the pen name "Gath".

His book will be released by the publisher about the middle of April and
copies can be reserved either by e-mail to middlton@dmv.com with the word
reserve in the subject line and body, or directly from Dr Shields at:

The book will be 375 pages, and is being published by the Delaware
Historical Commission.  

Cost is be $20.00 but Dr Shields will dispense with shipping and handling
charges (within the U.S.A.) and sign copies if requested.  When Dr Shields
supply is exhausted, the book may still be available from the Delaware
Historical Commission however, I currently have no information regarding
their pricing or ordering details.

The book is eagerly awaited by those who are interested in Civil War history
and I will be happy to forward any e-mail requests for reserve copies
directly to Dr Shields.
