Just cleaned out a whole bunch of stuff that was obviously spam. We hates spam, me precious! Hates it.
Happy Canada Day to those that celebrate it and Happy July 4th to those that celebrate that. We've missed Happy Midsommar, but summer is always good for holidays. Enjoy.

She's BAAAAAAAAACK. Much going on and things to add here. Crooked Mile (one of our music groups) has a new website in progress (crooked-mile.com) and that will have a link to our CD soon. Am revising all the others, too, but that will take time. Also FINALLY have a long-since researched book in progress. I was beginning to feel like a fraud -- typical of creative writers who become technical writers to survive.
Anon.

As a child raised in the military, and now a Soldier with my own military career, I have been forced to move a lot. Throughout the course of my life I have purchased the same favorite books innumerable times in order to keep myself surrounded with old friends while I was forced to make new ones. Your short "The String Game" from __The Shimmering Door__ has always been one of those that I try to have. It's one of my most favorite stories and I've always wondered at the woman who wrote it, as well as the woman who is centered in it and what all happens with her. Thank you for sharing your gifts with me. I've always wanted you to know that I'm thankful for your words.

Hi Barbara,
I was just messing around on the net and typed in my maiden name: Barbara Denz. Lo and behold, your name came up! Pretty neat. I am now Barbara Coen. I too love poetry and writing. I have performed my original poetry locally and have written a few articles that have been published nationally. I am currently teaching reading at a juvenile detention facility in N.J. Wonder if we are related distantly. Denz isn't all that popular of a name.... I am thirty-five years old, born and raised in New Jersey. Father's name Joseph George Denz. Email me if you get a chance.

Barbara, I enjoyed reading your web page and about all that you have accomplished. I have been writing poetry for over 36 years and have been published, but not recently. I am just starting to write fiction and am encouraged by other writers and their stories. Thank you for sharing your story.

Hello Barbara and David,
Your friend and my cousin, Brian Crook, turned me on
on to your Point Nine CD. I love the music and instrumentation
--it's the kind of thing I'd love play myself (although I'm starting
from the ukulele and tenor guitar, there is a cittern in my future).
Where can I buy an authorized copy with liner notes?

oh, Barb--you are so marvelously you! Really liked the update on your life, altho I grumbled when Steve told me it was on the computer, not a cute Christmas card that I could keep... I begin to see how very nice this whole net thing is--I got to see lots more than one Xmas card plus info letter ever holds. so, grumble grumble, ok, email isn't so bad!
