Autographed Books for the Holidays If you would like to give autographed copies of my books (or a whole set!) to someone for a holiday gift, I've worked out a deal with a local independent bookstore. Contact Reader's Cove at 970-266-1618 and tell them you want to order my books autographed. Charles and his crew will get me down there to sign the books before they ship. Be sure and tell them who I should write the message to!
Mass market release: Roc will release a mass market version of Breath and Bone in January 2009. The trade version will still be available. Now everyone can have matched pairs, either trade or mass market.
Bon jour, Seyonne! Just got word that Transformation will be released in French in March 2009!
Travels: One last trip - just for family Thanksgiving fun to Chicago, and then home for the holidays.
Unholy Alliance: Work proceeds apace on the first volume of my new series The Sabrian Veil. This story is shaping somewhat differently than my other stories, in that it is, at heart, a mystery - with magic, of course - and some of that very dark. In in a world on the cusp of a Renaissance-like explosion of science and exploration, three very different men - a foppish nobleman, a disillusioned student of magic, and a brooding practitioner of the dark arts – are hired as confidential agents to unravel the mystery of an attempted assassination. They encounter murder, treachery, and some very nasty sorcery on the way.
