News and Announcements

01/18/08 - Woo-hoo! The "Wastelands" anthology is now available in bookstores. Octavia Butler, Orson Scott Card, Steven King, not to mention yours truly. My husband likes to say I'm mentioned on the cover--right there where it says "And Many Others."
10/11/07 - A friend of mine who read "Stones of Destiny" said he found himself wishing for a map to help him understand the geography. In case you feel the same, there is a map of Scotland with pertinent sites marked at The Land of Macbeth. It doesn't show Cirech and Ce, which are modern Aberdineshire, but imagine them just north of Dunsinane Hill.
10/01/07 - It's here! After a series of frustrating delays, "Stones of Destiny" is now available for order from amazon.com US. (It has been available at amazon.uk for some time.) Spread the word! For those of you in Arizona, yes, I will be at TusCon this year, and yes, I will have copies available. See you there!
10/01/07 - Oh! I've been so caught up in the "Stones of Destiny" stuff, I nearly forgot to tell you--my short story "Artie's Angels" will be in an anthology coming out next year. "Wastelands" will also feature short stories by Stephen King, Olivia Butler, and Cory Doctorow. The company I keep! You can pre-order now at amazon.
07/26/07 - If you've tried to order "Stones of Destiny" from amazon.com and saw "we don't know when or if this title will be available..." do not fear! There has been a delay at the US distributor, but I'm told it will be resolved in 7-10 days. There is no problem ordering from amazon UK, except, of course, all the flooding has impacted the publisher's printing facility there, so you might experience a delay in receiving your copy.
06/01/07 - We have cover art! See the image at right. We also have an ISBN: 9781906146191. The book is listed on amazon.com now, and you can request amazon to email you when it is available.
05/14/07 - Psst. I'm almost afraid to say this, so I'll whisper. I have a publishing deal for my novel on the historical High King Macbeth. It's called "Stones of Destiny," and theoretically it will be available for order in July. After the last book deal went sour, I hate to do much pre-pub talking, so check back for any unexpected changes. In the meantime, you can read about the real Macbeath here.
