Terry Rossio and Ted Elliott have a fantastic site for screenwriters.
They wrote things like Pirates of the Caribbean, Mask of Zorro,
Shrek, etc.
Drew's
Script O Rama has loads of screenplays online for your
reading pleasure. If you want to write for the movies, you
need to read screenplays, so you might as well start with some
free ones. Don't trust the formatting on some of them, but
they'll give you an idea of how scripts read.
Screenwriter's
Utopia is a fun site with plenty of interviews and features.
The
Screenwriting Conference in Santa Fe is a terrific conference.
Learn from working screenwriters and get 5 minute pitches with
various producers. Held every June.
Script City is
the best place to buy screenplays. Reading online is okay for
a start, but you'll need copies of actual screenplays, too.
Colorado
Actors and Screenwriters Assembly (CASA). For those of
you in Colorado, CASA is a must.
Group
