This is a snapshot of me posing with the Mars Pathfinder Spacecraft-- or actually, posing with the airbag-test model of the spacecraft, just before one of the tests of the landing system in the giant vacuum chamber at the Plum Brook research station. The fabric surrounding it is the undeployed airbag system that will cushion its landing on Mars. In the actual spacecraft, this is all packed neatly away into little packages, of course!
