Book and Magazine Publishers

Many book and magazine publishers have Web pages (or publish on the Web). In fact, there are so many that I've split them up in three sections.

Short Fiction Markets for SF/F

I've compiled a table of short fiction markets (except anthologies) which pay 1 cent a word or more for science fiction, fantasy and/or horror stories. This list was last updated 11 June 2002. Check the CALLIHOO newsletters since that date for updates. The list is available in two formats:

(Note: on the tables, shaded rows are for markets which are currently closed, on hiatus, or not accepting submissions for some reason. The key for the abbreviations used in the newsletter is in the "addresses" portion of the file.)

Other SF/F/H Market Listings on the Web

http://www.ralan.com/ Ralan Conley's SF/F Market Site is an excellent market site for SF/F. Often updated daily!

http://www.spicygreeniguana.com/ Spicy Green Iguana is another market website, with links to many SF/F and some mainstream magazine websites. Not updated as often as Ralan's site, it can still have some useful information.

http://home.att.net/~P.Fleming/Sfmarket.html Paula Fleming's Market List is updated monthly.

http://www.writemarket.com/ The Write Market has another website for SF/F markets.
