My father sometimes reminds me of the immortal words of Boss Pendergast to the newly-elected Senator Harry S. Truman upon Truman's leaving Missouri for Washington D.C.: 

"Work hard, keep your mouth shut, and answer your mail." 

I'm VERY slow answering my email, but I try to get to it all eventually. It often takes me 3-4 months to reply.  Sometimes it takes much longer, for which I apologize in advance.

Let me emphasize here that I appreciate each and every note that comes my way. As a writer I work in isolation, so it's gratifying to know that people are reading and enjoying the books.

Don't forget that there is also a message board on the Fan Page.

The Official Kate Elliott Web Page contains information about the writing of science fiction and fantasy author Kate Elliott.  This site was originally created on sff.net http://www.sff.net/  by Alis Rasmussen (aka Kate Elliott), with the gracious help of Michael Zimmerman and Katharine Kerr.  The most recent redesign was done by Jeanne Reames-Zimmerman, who surely had better things to do with her time -- but who am I to say ‘no', especially when the finished product is such excellent work?  Thank you, Jeanne.
