Wapakoneta, and educated at Bowling Green State University,
Wright State, and Ohio State. She raised her daughter in
Dayton and now lives in Columbus with three dogs, three

Lori Foster was born and raised in Cincinnati,
Ohio. She and her husband,Allen, both graduated from
Northwest High School in 1977. They've been married for 19
years and have three sons, Aaron, Jake and Mason. Lori and

stays very involved with her sons and uses her free time to

Annie grew up in Boulder during the Great Hippie
Era and graduated from the Univ. of Colorado with a major in
religious studies. After completing her MLS at the Univ. of
Illinois, she came to Ohio to work for the Columbus
Metropolitan Library system as a children's librarian. She
lives with two teenage sons, five dogs, a stray kitten, and
1500 rubber stamps. Annie writes for Leisure's "It's a
Dog's Life" line. Her first book, STRAY HEARTS will be out
in Oct. 97, followed by a companion novella, AWAY IN A
SHELTER in Leisure's Christmas Anthology, SANTA PAWS.
LONELY HEART will be out in 98. A portion of her roylaties
goes to support The Company of Animals, a nonprofit agency
supported by writers and illustrators that distributes
grants to animal welfare agencies providing emergency and
ongoing care to companion animals throughout the US.
