Becky Barker writes short and long contemporary category romance with ten books to her credit. She's been published by Dell, Meteor, Zebra and Silhouette. This year, she'll have two of her Kismet titles reprinted as hardcover library editions called Black Satin Romances. Becky is a founding member of the Central Ohio Fiction Writers and the Ohio Published Authors' League. She's also a member of Romance Writers of America, their published authors' network and Novelists, Inc. Jenny Crusie was born in Lima, raised in Wapakoneta, and educated at Bowling Green State University, Wright State, and Ohio State. She raised her daughter in Dayton and now lives in Columbus with three dogs, three cats, and an asthma inhaler. Jenny has written nine category romances for Harlequin and Bantam (including Rita winner GETTING RID OF BRADLEY) and one single title hardcover romance for St. Martin's Press, TELL ME LIES, out in March of 98. Lori Foster was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. She and her husband,Allen, both graduated from Northwest High School in 1977. They've been married for 19 years and have three sons, Aaron, Jake and Mason. Lori and her family now live in a small rural community in Ohio. She stays very involved with her sons and uses her free time to read and write equally. Harlequin Temptation published her first book, IMPETUOUS, in January 1996. Her second book became the first of the hot new Temptation: BLAZE series, OUTRAGEOUS, released in April 1997.

Annie Kimberlin

Annie grew up in Boulder during the Great Hippie Era and graduated from the Univ. of Colorado with a major in religious studies. After completing her MLS at the Univ. of Illinois, she came to Ohio to work for the Columbus Metropolitan Library system as a children's librarian. She lives with two teenage sons, five dogs, a stray kitten, and 1500 rubber stamps. Annie writes for Leisure's "It's a Dog's Life" line. Her first book, STRAY HEARTS will be out in Oct. 97, followed by a companion novella, AWAY IN A SHELTER in Leisure's Christmas Anthology, SANTA PAWS. LONELY HEART will be out in 98. A portion of her roylaties goes to support The Company of Animals, a nonprofit agency supported by writers and illustrators that distributes grants to animal welfare agencies providing emergency and ongoing care to companion animals throughout the US.
