Rion Wilhelm began writing at a very early age. Confined to bed during much of her early years, her tutors introduced her to the joy of setting pen to paper. By the time she started to public school in the fourth grade, the love of reading and writing was already an integral part of her life and has remained so to the present.

A California native, Rion was a regular contributor in "small press" and periodicals during her high school years and is proud to have been one of first contributors to the then new "Isaac Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine".

After graduation from high school, writing took a back seat to the demands of marriage and family, but her first love never left her heart. Upon leaving her beloved Marin County in 1980 to continue her education, Rion again returned part time to writing and rediscovered the joy she had known in her youth.

Rion now lives in California's wine country (Sonoma County) with her son, where she writes fanfic, collects Native American pottery (she is of Native American decent) and (apparently) cats. She is working on her first fantasy novel (the first volumn of a planned trilogy) which is tentatively titled "Legacy". Rion also writes suspense and romance under the name of Sinclair StJovite.

As if I'm not owned by enough cats, this is my new Cyberkitty "Dakota". She is a Silver Tabby and is named after the heroine(?) in one of my fanfics. She insists on staying right with me while I'm working. Actually, she has been doing a fine job of proofreading and frequently contributes to the storyline. As you can see, she has settled in quite nicely and gets along fine with her brothers and sisters. I adopted Dakota from Pets4U Cyberpet Adoptions. Their link appears at the bottom of the page.
