Educating the public about reproductive rights has always been a primary focus of Pro-Choice Resources (PCR). From the schools to the legislature, we have provided accurate information on a variety of reproductive issues, including the financial hardships and health risks that low-income women face in obtaining abortions services, access to care, and the special needs of teenagers.
Now in its fifth edition, The Teacher's Guide provides accurate information in an easy-to-use format.
Equal Time, Fair Talk -- A study of ProChoice Resources and the Religious Right in Minnesota's schools.
Our volunteer Speaker's Bureau has performed over 75 presentations on reproductive rights to students, teachers, and adults in schools, professional groups, and organizations. These volunteers go through training and attend in-service meetings to obtain the most current, factual information available. During training meetings, our volunteers learn from community experts about specific aspects of reproductive choice, including legislation, adoption, parenting resources, contraceptive technology, and issues affecting low- income women and teenagers. Speakers' bureau members also help develop presentations, perform research, and create visual aides.
