I've been playing guitar and writing songs longer than I care to admit, but if you press me, I'll confess all. I've performed on stages from coast to coast, including New York, Boston, Atlanta, Anaheim, and Seattle, and, in 2001, opened for Eminent Records recording artist Rosie Flores as part of WDVR-FM's acclaimed "The Loft @ Studio D" concert series. I was also a founding member of the country/blues/rock band the Don't Quit Your Day Job Players, writing crowd favorites "Brown-Haired Woman" and "When the Magic Goes Away," among others. I'm always hard at work on new songs.
My next release is entitled The Pattern, which includes favorites such as "If You Love Me (Why Do You Act So Mean)," "Reckless in Texas," and a hidden bonus track with lyrics by science fiction writer Esther Friesner. I perform on a Sigma thin-line acoustic electric, a Takamine 12-string, a Guild solid body S300-D, a Fender Nashville Power Telecaster, and a Guild Starfire III archtop.
If you're not aware of this, I'm a prose writer, too, and my short stories have appeared in numerous anthologies, including Elric: Tales of the White Wolf, The Ultimate Silver Surfer, On Crusade: More Tales of the Knights Templar, and Bruce Coville's U.F.O.s. I/ve also written Ars Magical Kabbalah, a role-playing supplement for Atlas Games and, in 2000, was ordained a rabbi by the Rabbinical Seminary International.
