I knew I was in trouble the moment I laid eyes on my boss-to-be, Art Director Ed Meister. But first impressions aside, he proved to be a stern task master, keeping the ladies in line.

Art Director, Ed

To say the models were not what I expected would be the understatement of the year. Here the girls wave goodbye to their moms from the balcony of the Concordia offices before embarking to the lovely white beaches of Olmsted Falls and Berea for our photo shoot.

Roberta, Josefina, Christofina, Hansetta, and Bernadetta were accompanied by their chaperone Michaela (captured here in a weak moment).

Ah, even the beaches of Rio de Janeiro aren't any whiter than the February beaches of northern Ohio. (All right, so they're white for a slightly different reason. It meant the girls had the beach all to themselves.)

Sand as white as snow

Here Bernadetta does her flag imitation in the talent portion of our competition. Doesn't she fly valiantly? Well, maybe she does need to loosen up a little.

The ladies take time out to blow their fans a kiss.

Mr. Ed, as the ladies learned to call him, prepares a little cookout at lunch time.

The ladies play a little football during a well-deserved break before returning to spend the afternoon posing for more photos.

Art Director Meister caught eyeing Roberta, a true vision of feminine pulchritude, if ever he saw one.

A big kiss and a big thanks-for-stopping-by from Hansetta.

NOTE: First presented as a part of a slide presentation for a Mardi Gras celebration for about 500 people, this show featured a well-received guest performance by the ladies. Afterwards, please be assured, Mr. Meister did indeed get what was coming to him.
