It took me a while to decide if I actually wanted to go ahead with this section of the website. I had sections of the Chronicles posted on my old website, and I had enjoyed doing it. It was a way for me to get a small section of something, anything written, without worrying about grammar and revising or if the story was coherent, etc. But every writer hears the warnings about not posting your writing on the internet, that it's considered publication, and therefore it will never be accepted by a magazine or book publisher because you've already given away your first time publication rights for free. So, I measured and weighed, and finally came to a decision.

The sections in these Chronicles are more of an exploration in mood, and small dabblings with a subject I become obssessed with time and again - the end of the world. Yes, by posting it here, I will likely never have a compilation of these snipets published into a book, but it also makes me feel good that I'm sharing a little part of me with everyone without worrying about money. Perhaps a little piece here and there will give me inspiration to write a full short story or novel (which of course won't be posted on the website). And I have enough stories and novels in progress that remind me, I can do something like this if I wish.

The first four sections are straight from my old website, and I hope to add a new section at least once a month. With all of that said, I give you the Chronicles of the Beginning of an End and an End of a Beginning.
