It's been a long time since the website was updated - life has been interesting, to say the least. Details can be found on my blog, as always. Today I updated the main page, biography, and works in progress. Hopefully I'll be able to update other pages, slowly. =)

It's been a while since I paid much attention to my website. Okay, over a year is more than a while. There wasn't much tweaking I needed to do, but I have done some tweaking. Made sure dates were correct, all the links worked, and updated the list of what I'm reading and writing on the Home page. On my to do list is to flesh out the Links area and add more Writing Tips & Prompts. Hopefully those will be looked at once I catch up on a million other things in my life. Happy writing!

I have finally added a tidbit to the Tips & Prompts section. It's a tip, so go ahead and check it out. :) Otherwise, nothing major is new. Oh, it might have been last time I updated and I forgot to mention, but I did add the NaNoWriMo logo under Works in Progress for my NaNo novel this year. That's all, I swear.

I added a sentence to my Bio, which includes the two organizations I belong to. And I added two things to the Works in Progress page. Did a few tweaks here and there, also, but nothing else major. I wanted to start up the Tips & Prompts area, but I think I'll save that for the next couple weeks. I know, I should add a new snippet to the Chronicles page soon, too. One thing at a time. :)

I have finally started up the Chronicles portion of the website. So, the only section that needs content is the Writing Tips & Prompts. I'm still trying to decide how I want to organize that. Not to mention how often I want to post something new to it. The scrolling down could get long, so maybe I'll split it into two sections. Just thinking out loud. :) I also updated the word count of my WIP novel, and I of course updated the main page. That's all!

Did you think it would be another two months before I updated again? Ha, fooled you. I'm making the time recently to get this website in order, since I've left some of the intended pages empty too long, and I love to have things organized (you couldn't tell by looking at all the piles of paper in my study). Okay, I updated the main page and rearranged the Unpublished Works page, which includes adding a couple new things and moving some stuff from the Works in Progress page. Here's hoping I can work on Chronicles and Writing Tips & Prompts next week.

The main page has been updated, as with every update I do. Also, I had to update my bio, since my fish is another year older (and I'm almost another year older), plus I now have a Master of Arts degree in Popular Fiction. I spent a lot of time on the links page, so now it's in an easier browing format, not to mention I added a few links - blogs mostly. While working on updates, I realized there's a bunch more rearranging I need to do on a couple pages. And I haven't even had time to work on the Chronicles and Writing Tips pages! Oh, I also added a blurb on the Works in Progress page about the new short story I'm working on. That's all, I think.

So, I didn't keep up the main page with what I was reading and writing. Life is sneaky. At least I update my blog more often. This time around I updated the main page, of course (and since I will be reading more, I'll probably update more, but it won't be noted on this page if that's all I update). I added two links to the Links section, under the new Conventions heading. And I also switched around some things on the Works in Progress page, including updating the excerpt from The Mind Behind the Mind to the revised version. Daina's Dance is now at the top of that list, since that's what I'll be concentrating most of my effort on for a while. That's it. Happy browsing!

Look how long it's been since I've updated. Darn thesis novel that consumes all because of the looming final deadline. I fixed a link in the Links section, I did some rewording on the main Poetry page, obviously updated the data on the Home page, and adjusted a few things on the Works in Progress page. That last one includes an excerpt from my novel The Mind Behind the Mind. Hope you all like it. I know I still need to add content to a few of the pages, but I won't have time to do that until after April 10. Otherwise, I at least hope to keep the Home page info up-to-date from now on.

I've added 14 links to the Links section, and there are so many more that I know I should add. I might even have to divide the Links page into sections if the list grows too long (I know how annoying it is to have to scroll down a really long page).

I added two things to the Publications page (two old ones). Also, the Unpublished Works and Works in Progress pages now have content - yea! The old website is down (links to my blog and this website are up though, just in case). I'm starting NaNoWriMo today, so visit my Blog for daily updates on that. That's all for now. Maybe I'll have time to work on the other empty pages later this week.

My new website is now up and running. It needs a lot of work, but I was too impatient to wait. I also still need to take down the old website. The pages that are currently complete, until of course I have something new to update, are the Home page, Biography, and Publications. Sorry for the sparse content.
