Some of the most enjoyable freelance work that I do is corporate communications, press releases, and editing. I've edited technical writing, fiction, and one screenplay. For small businesses and special events, I've written brochures and press releases. I especially enjoyed working on an Annual Report for the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston.

In a volunteer capacity, I do press releases for my church, St. Stephen's Episcopal in Houston, to publicize liturgical and musical activities. A couple of these press releases have appeared as articles in the Texas Episcopalian newspaper. I've written 30-second radio spots that run on 88.7 FM KUHF Public Radio announcing St. Stephen's activities.
