Every author loves it when her books garner praise, and so I'm delighted to share the following with you.
The second book of the Westward Winds series has memorable characters who have what it takes to survive in the wilds of Wyoming Territory in the late 1800s. The storyline flows smoothly throughout, and there are a few surprises for readers to discover. Cabot's historicals are shining stars, and this one belongs on fans' keeper shelves.

Cabot is a great technician, skilled at dialogue and romantic chemistry. Fans of Christian fiction ... will get a well-written romance with well-drawn main--and flawed--characters along with glimpses of the real history of a Western frontier city.
Publishers Weekly
The second entry in Cabot’s historical romance series (after Summer of Promise) offers a compelling tale of a woman with a troubled past who longs for a different future. Period details and authentic Western atmosphere will recommend this title to those who read Tamera Alexander.
