10, 20, 30 Minutes to Write grew out of questions posed to April by
attendees of her popular Book In A Week workshops.
10,
20, 30 Minutes to Study grew out of her experiences as a high achieving student
herself (Phi Beta Kappa, Honors Degree from Purdue University, MS from Cornell
University), as well as from her experiences raising a son with down syndrome,
a daughter who was co-valedictorian of her high school class and engineering
major at Stanford University, and tutoring the children of friends.
Perhaps what April Kihlstrom knows best,
however, is how to deal with life’s many challenges—whether writing, life

as the loss of people she loved. The
system she developed to deal with such experiences is universal and can be used

life’s opportunities.
