	(NOTE FROM AN OLD PRINT FREAK) CONSIDER THE KINDLE
	I CONFESS: I was as hidebound as anyone: "Give me print or give me death!" However, since at Enchanteds Publishing we are publishing Kindles, it was necessary for me to get the Kindles on my iPad to check them out (there are free Kindle apps for just about any electronic device short of a washing machine). I began reading my own stuff as Kindles and in a matter of days I was hooked. It is so darned easy to read and to handle, not to mention the thousands of books it can hold, the hundreds of thousands it can access at very low rates, and the Amazon free book lending deal (which isn't free). But for a single payment per annum, you become a premium member and can have any book that has been entered into the lending program at no additional charge for a week. And all my books are entered in the Amazon Kindle lending plan.
	Yes, I know it involves change, and change can be frightening. But it's just like the broccoli, folks. How do you know you won't like it if you won't try it? Give Kindle Reader or a Kindle Application on your iPad, mobile phone, or whatever a try. The apps are for free, as are many of the Kindles. A cheaper tryout for potential savings on books in the multiple thousands of dollars you won't find. Barry B. Longyear
