NOVEL MENTORING : As a working novelist, I somehow wandered into teaching the novel too. I taught for WRITER'S DIGEST SCHOOL (2 yrs), AMERICA ONLINE (2 yrs), and a writer's website (1 yr.) I've now decided to offer my critique/mentoring service myself. It is done through regular mail, with the writer sending me the novel or section of a novel for a predetermined price, to be carefully read, proofed, and responded to for story elements, grammar, punctuation, and marketability.
