Mandy's "Share A Memory" WinnerMy youngest daughter Amanda is a budding writer. She's in the fourth grade, and wrote the following essay for a contest in my local newspaper The Charlotte Observer . This contest was open to all ages, not just schoolchildren. The essay won an Honorable Mention and appeared in the December 10th issue of the newspaper. Good job, Mandy!
