The Science of Creating New Things CMPSC 213 is a transferable programming course in Visual Basic (.NET version) by Microsoft.  Visual Basic is an applications-oriented language that allows the programmer to quickly create a windows/graphic application. Computer Science majors, Information systems majors as well as others in business or science majors will benefit from learning this fun, easy language. Prerequisite: CMPSC 204.  This course fulfills the prerequisite requirements for CMPSC 214, Advanced Visual Basic.
