Free E-mail Account
E-mail Account:
1. From the Lab computers, double click on
Your Web Browser to open the
application.
2. Click on the Location section above the main screen.
3. Type in www.hotmail.com and hit the enter key to go there.
4. Click on the link labeled: Sign Up Now!
5. Fill out the information on the
form. Scroll down and fill in all the
required sections. Whatever you don't
want to tell them, make it up!
6. Scroll the screen down to the bottom
and click on I Accept.
7. For your e-mail ID and password, keep
trying if at first it says it is a duplicate of someone else's. There are a lot of e-mail accounts out there!
8. Once you get into the system, there
will be links to read your inbox, compose (send) outgoing mail, etc. Try mailing something to yourself, and see
how long it takes to show up. Click
“Check Mail” to see if you got a new message.
9. After you have set up an account, from
then on you can go to www.hotmail.com
and sign in and by typing in your user name and password (don't forget
them) you will then be able to access your e-mail.
10. Now, search the web and find a good price
for a Pentium 4, 3.0 GHz Processor. Find the chip ONLY for sale, not a whole
computer system. A good price would be about $200. Copy and paste the link to
that page into an e-mail message. NOTE: Make sure your REAL full name is
in the subject portion of the e-mail
you send me! Also Note: It must come from hotmail.com, or you will not get
credit.
Send your message to:
LarsonHomework@hotmail.com
