Creativity

In collaboration with psychologist Holly Arrow, engineer and businessman Les Christianson, and educator Barbara Hudgings, Bruce helped to create and develop a model of creativity, the Creative Circumplex.

The Circumplex describes creative problem solving for thinkers and creators in any pursuit, from the arts to engineering, from management to conflict resolution. Bruce has presented the Circumplex--sometimes with his collaborators, sometimes alone--to groups ranging from General Motors engineers to federal government employees to creative writers.

Bruce is currently at work on a book, The Eight-Flavored Journey for Writers, which analyzes the phases of creative writing an offers practical advice. He and his collaborators also plan to write a second book about the Circumplex, this one for a general audience.
