If you are visiting this site for the first time, let me introduce myself. I started reading science fiction in 1948 with the Bradbury stories in Colliers and continued ever thereafter. I started writing seriously about 1974 in longhand and on a manual typewriter and garnering an impressive folder of rejections. My first sale came in 1975 to Analog and second one followed shortly after, just when I entered my second year of graduate school. The details of my journey, and a rather lengthy hiatus, are detailed in my biographies elsewhere on this site.
I occasionally attend a few conventions: regularly at Balticon, Confluence, and CapClave and at others when the opportunity and finances permit. IÕll try to post those here whenever that happens. If you happen to run into me please stop and chat. I always enjoy talking to other SF fans and especially short story writers who might be trying to gain traction in the limited short SF marketplace.
So, come on in, wander around, and let me know what you think of this site. I am always looking for ideas to improve the look and feel, and especially to provide the information you would find of interest.
