News Flash! Super Crocs & Monster Wings wins 2008 Science in Society Book Award
The Canadian Science Writers’ Association has given its 2008 Science in Society Youth Book Award to my first science book for kids, Super Crocs & Monster Wings. The award was presented on May 23 at the CSWA’s conference in Sudbury, Ontario. Super Crocs has also been shortlisted for the 2010 Rocky Mountain Book Award, the Alberta Children’s Choice award.

Super Crocs in Kenya
My friend Susan Thompson spends a lot of her time and energy working on some small development projects in Kenya – including fish farming and a tailoring school.
