On the left is Susan Casper and on the far right is her husband Gardner Dozois, with Nebula nominee Ellen Klages in between. I ended up spending a lot of time with Susan and Gardner over the weekend (two dinners and two breakfasts!), and I have to say that they are about as nice and fun as two people can be. Interestingly, I never knew them when I lived in Philadelphia several years ago, even though my apartment was just a block or two away from theirs.
