D.W. (Daniel) Archambault currently lives in Bordeaux France where he is working as a post doctoral researcher. In 2008, he finished his PhD in computer science at the University of British Columbia. Before all of that, he grew up in Manotick, Ontario: a small town just south of Ottawa. When he grows up, he hopes to be a professor someday. A long time ago, he did quite a bit of astrophotography and even had a photograph published in SkyNews magazine. Even though he does not take pictures of the sky too often anymore, he still does the occasional event. When he is not writing or reading weird stories, he lives an active lifestyle enjoying hiking, running long distances (half-marathons, marathons, and some cross-country), and the occasional game of ultimate. Growing up, he competed in competitive short-track speed skating for ten years. |
