David B. Coe is the author of eleven fantasy novels. The first three, Children of Amarid, The Outlanders, and Eagle-Sage, comprise his Crawford Award-winning LonTobyn Chronicle.
Winds of the Forelands, David's critically acclaimed five book epic fantasy, includes, Rules of Ascension, Seeds of Betrayal, Bonds of Vengeance, Shapers of Darkness, and Weavers of War.
David's newest series is called Blood of the Southlands. It takes place in the same world as the Forelands books. The first volume of this series, The Sorcerers' Plague, was released in December 2007, and book II, The Horsemen's Gambit, was published in January 2009. The third and final volume in the series, The Dark-Eyes' War, came out in early 2010.
David has written the novelization of Robin Hood, a major motion picture recently released by NBC/Universal. The movie is directed by Ridley Scott and stars Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett.
