Spring 1996, demonstrating kung fu san soo at a women's martial arts expo with partner Phyllis Nelson. This art was brought to the USA by my teacher, Jimmy Woo. A herniated cervical disc has put me into retirement, but I had a wonderful 25 years! |

Fall 1998 at the "Forrest Gump rest stop" of the Avon 3-Day Walk (Santa Barbara to Malibu, CA). I worked on the set-up crew, creating campsite facilities for the walkers and by this time, I was so tired, I needed a rest more than they did! |

Summer 2000, Oregon City OR, on my friend Bonnie's aged Arabian mare, Kokanee. It's great to reconnect with horses, a passion from my youth. Kokanee has since gone to greener pastures, so I am glad to have this reminder of many happy hours with her. |

Here I am (in the blue hat) on the South Fork of the American River, summer 2002. Can you tell what a wonderful time I'm having? The rafting trip was arranged through a volunteer group called Friends of the River. |
