Pronunciation Guide

If you want to know how I might pronounce certain words in any of the Path books, please feel free to email me and ask. I've begun a list below, which I hope to add to. I'm not particularly good at this, so bear with me. And if this totally doesn't work for you, suggestions are appreciated.

The italicized syllables are stressed. As needed, in paranetheses are words with the same vowel sound as the syllable it follows.

 

ahalad-kaaslane: uh-hal-ad ka (come) slaw na (not)

Ceriba: Ser (stare) ee ba ( but)

Iisand: ee i (if) sand

Juhrnus: jur (jerk) nus (wuss) (hey, honestly, I just made that connection)

Kaval: Ka val (wall)

Kodu Riik: ko (coke) dew Ree-ick

Mysane Kosk: Miss on uh (up) Kawsk

Nurema: nur (urge) eh ma

Reisil: Rise-il

Saljane: Sal ( solve) jon a (but)

Upsakes: up (loop) saw keys

Yohuac: yo wac
