As you can see I'm making progress in my redesign project. I think I've learned more about HTML in the past two days than I've learned in the past year. (That tells you how pathetic my HTML skills were earlier, because there's really nothing complicated or involved about what I'm doing here.) I think I just have to get properly motivated to learn stuff. i.e. bored

Today is my Dad's birthday! Woohoo, Dad!

I was woken up today by a barking dog. My roommate's barking dog. At 7:30. AM. I was Not Pleased, especially since I generally get to sleep around 4am. (Yes, I work strange hours!) I still don't know what he was barking at, but around 8am I gave up, opened the window (he was out in the yard) and yelled at him to shut up. Well, my neighbor happened to be in his yard (which was what the fool dog was barking at), and he gave me a funny look when I yelled at the dog. I wonder if he thought I was yelling at him?

Today was Package Day. First was a package from my friend, Kat, who now lives in England. Chocolate! Lots and lots of chocolate! Yeah yeah yeah, I'm still dieting, but I'm allowing myself a little bit each day. *grin* I'll walk around the block a few more times... I'll do extra situps... I'll...

I'll be good, but I sure as hell ain't letting that wonderful chocolate go to waste.

And there was also an absolutely gorgeous, intricately beaded and embrodiered pillow cover. This is one of those times I really wish I had a digital camera. I'm awful about finishing up rolls of film in ordinary cameras, and then there's the hassle of getting it developed, then of course if I want to put it online I have to scan it. I have the scanner, but it would be easier if I could just skip all those intermediary steps...

Yeah, I know. Deal with it.

I mean, why am I bitching about a digital camera when my second package of the day was my new laptop being delivered? ;-)
