Things I can't do without my desktop computer:
Scan anything. This is annoying me since I wanted to continue upgrading my website--including pictures of family and stuff.
Play music. Yes, I use my puter as my stereo. Well, I can still listen to music, but only on my portable cd player, and that's just not the same. (Yes, I'm very picky.)

Yes, I continue to be annoyed, peeved and generally upset about my hard drive crash. The person is supposed to come out on Wednesday to install the new one. I feel kindof wussy for not doing it myself, but it's something I've never attempted before, so I'll watch and learn, I guess.

I didn't get any writing done today. I woke up after noon (I've been on the 8-4 shift for the past couple of days,) and then piddled around for a bit, then got online and talked to Kat for a while. I looks like I will definitely be going to England in October to visit her. I'll make it my getting unmaried present to myself.

I'm almost looking forward to the dorms at Clarion. I think my room there will be bigger than my room here. It might not be so bad here if I could just stop buying books (heresy!!), but as it stands now I'm beginning to pile them in haphazard stacks all over the place. The headboard of my bed is a bookshelf, and it's already two deep and double-stacked. Funny thing is that my roommate has hardly any books in the house. How can anyone live like that??
