I got off work about 4am this morning, and as I was driving home along the beach road I saw all sorts of disembodied lights floating out over the water. It was actually fishermen jigging for flounder, but the effect was nicely eerie.

(Note: Jigging for flounder consists of going out into the water in the middle of the night, wading about a hundred yards out, then shining a light down into the water and spearing flounder when you see one.)
