Another graphics-intensive entry

Okay, let me explain why I put these pictures here. Last night in Vera's chat, we somehow got onto the subject of hair, and for some reason Vera and others had thought that I had chopped all of my hair off since last year's Worldcon. I informed them that No, I still had long hair, and did not plan on chopping my hair off anytime soon since a) my hair grows outrageously slowly and it took me forever to get it to where it is now, and b) I look like a boy with a hormone problem with my hair short.

Well, anyway, I mentioned that I had several pictures from my Short Hair Days (back when I was in AFROTC), and since they all wanted to see them, I figured it would be easiest to just put them here.

A caveat: These pictures are ALL over ten years old. These are from my college days. In some of these pictures I almost approach "cute." I am 30-something now, and have no desire to look "cute" anymore.

At AF Light Aircraft Training. (I'm the one on the left.) Yes, I had a pilot slot. Yes I lost my pilot slot when my eyes were 20/25 on my commisioning physical.

I'm the one in the middle. We're crammed into the back of a C-130. I forget why.
