I'm beginning to slowly get stuffed scanned. Here's a group pic of my Clarion class.

So, I'm looking through the huge pile of mail and magazines that was awaiting me, and I pull out my copy of Speculations, and am leafing through it, when I see, at the bottom of page 29, the URL for this journal. No wonder my hit count has been climbing! Of course I instantly had to go back through and read all of my entries to see if I sounded like a blithering idiot.

I stopped by my place of employment today to let them know I was back in town and to see what days/hours I was scheduled for. My boss asked me how my vacation was, and it took me a minute to figure out what he was talking about. Vacation? I don't recall going on a vacation.

It's been a very relaxing day, overall. I slept late, and then after I got back from talking to my boss, I just was a bit of a slug all day. I watched some TV, attempted to do some unpacking (though none of my boxes have arrived yet, so the unpacking wasn't very much--mostly dirty laundry.) I did discover, much to my dismay, that the shelf that had held all of my ceramic rabbits--rabbits that I've received every easter for as long as I can remember--had fallen down in my absence, and the majority of the rabbits are now mere shards behind the TV. That was pretty depressing. I'm not sure yet how many of them are glue-able. Sigh.

So, then I got tired of being a slug, and got to work on rewriting my Clarion stories. I finished up "Extant" which only needed a few line edits here and there. I think I'll print out "Nullspace" next, since that one leapt to mind. I really don't want to lose this momentum.
