And now you must endure a variety of vacation pics. I will be somewhat merciful on you--for now--and only display a few of the best, and only those that contain views of me and/or my mother. If I had a working scanner you'd be in big trouble, and you'd be viewing vacation pictures until your eyes bled. As it is, you'll be waiting for all the images to load for quite a while, I'm afraid.
I really loved how this picture (and the one to the right) came out. Oh yeah, by the way, this is me at Stonehenge.

The one on the left was taken near a neat little pub that was out in the middle of nowhere (somewhere near Bristol) where we had a terrific dinner. The one on the right was taken at Warwick castle where I climbed more stairs than I thought humanly possible. Mom, sensibly, stayed on the ground during the stair-climbing spree.

I can't remember exactly where the one on the left was taken, but it turned out really cool with the arches. The one on the right was taken at the British Museum in London. That's me between two goddesses. Quite appropriate. ;-)

I conned two police officers in Stratford-on-Avon into having their pictures taken with me. They were pretty good sports about it, though I'm sure they thought I was a nutcase--even after I explained that I was a police officer back in the states.

These guys (in Cardiff, Wales)were more willing to have their pics taken, and were quite conversational as well--more than willing to discuss the differences in policing in the UK and the states. The chap on the right asked me if I wanted to sit on his bike to have my pic taken (hehehe.. yeah, baby! Ahem) but I politely declined.
