Finally, the last day of the Holi-dailies challenge. I managed to post an entry for every friggin' day, though there were a couple of occasions I actually uploaded the entry an hour or two after midnight. But there is an actual entry for each day so I feel that I fulfilled the terms of the challenge. And, though I do intend to post entries more frequently, I doubt that I will continue with the every day thing. Most days there really isn't a whole lot interesting to talk about, and it's rather tiring to try and churn out an entry every day. But I will try to do an entry every few days at least. ![]() Globally, 2001 was not the greatest year--in fact it was a pretty terrible year--which makes me feel oddly guilty to say that personally 2001 was a pretty decent year overall for me. Nothing really earth-shattering occurred, but I feel like I made good progress in my life. I lost a significant amount of weight, my law enforcement career is moving along nicely and I seem to have developed a good reputation as a deputy, I traveled overseas for the first time, I didn't get killed, I saved a life, my finances are in good condition, and I'm starting to write again. So, I've made a few resolutions for 2002:
![]() I have to be at work early tomorrow morning, so I will let the world celebrate the new year with me asleep in my bed. Tomorrow is supposed to be raw and cold and dismal and there is even the horrific forecast of sleet or even possibly snow. I will be wearing my longies under my uniform again tomorrow. |
