When Spider-Man tries to stop what looks like a simple robbery, he discovers that it's really the start of a sinister plot created by his archenemy, Dr. Octopus, to take over the world!

In control of a pair of unstoppable nuclear missiles, Octopus plans to launch them at Latveria, the European country ruled by Doctor Doom, in hopes of starting a nuclear war. In order to set his plan in motion, Octopus needs a copy of the launch codes that, when used, will prevent anyone from halting the missiles' detonation. When the war ends, Octopus will step forward to become ruler of world.

Teaming up with Captain America, Spider-Man races against time to stop World War III.
