Janette's costume was based on the anime character, Niazekia, who is a little girl with rabbit feet and rabbit ears -- and the magical ability to turn into a rabbit. Or perhaps she is a rabbit with the magical ability to turn into the form of a little girl. Elizabeth was a Spider Lady Vampire. The pet spider did not go out collecting candy, though. We left it tied up at home. I once again took out the greedy owl, who once again begged for candy and came home fat. Very fat. I was dressed as a child herder....
