F.A.Q.
q:Where do you get your ideas?
a:Anywhere. Everywhere. Grocery shopping. Listening to my kids play.
Watching television. Going to the fair. Driving home. Tying my shoes.
Did you ever say, "Hey, wouldn't it be cool if...."?
q:How can I be a writer?
a:Sit down and write.
q:What's the hardest part of being a writer?
a:Sitting down and writing.
q:I have a great idea. Want it?
a:Nope. Thanks, anyway. I have too many of my own right now.
q:Can you give me any advice?
a: I'm still learning myself. But...get a writing partner or join a critique group. Books I have found helpful include Characters and Viewpoint by Orson Scott Card, William Strunk's The Elements of Style. Beginnings, Middles and Ends by Nancy Kress. More, I'll post them when I remember.
q:Why do you write fantasy instead of normal stuff?
a:Because it's what I like to read. Because it's what I like to write. Because.
What's normal, anyway?
q:how can I get published?
a:when I figure it out, I'll let you know.
