Took the kids on a hike in the woods over the summer. They, or course, forged ahead of their lame ol' mother, but I didn't mind. It gave me a unique viewpoint, not having chattering children alongside, and I was able to channel Frodo Baggins, and get this wonderful shot of the Shire, just before the Black Rider appears.
And, of course, if that wasn't enough, last winter my front yard took us straight into Narnia.
