Taken for a Ride

(The Freudian Bus Route)

Peter's bus is a giant penis
thrusting between the traffic
and up wide open streets
jolting and jerking from low gears to high
brakes screeching, sliding climactically
to a shuddering halt
ejaculating spermatozoan passengers

Virginia's bus is a giant vagina-cum-uterus
its vulva opening to welcome
and warmly embrace her passengers
who are gently laid at their stops
like loved newborns
after a gestatory journey

The Freudian bus line
is a marvel of efficiency:
with only one route
it will take you anywhere
your heart may desire
