Greg van Eekhout is a writer of science fiction and fantasy. His fiction has appeared in magazines such as Asimov's and Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction. His story In the Late December was nominated for the 2004 Nebula Award in the short story category.

His first novel, Norse Code, is forthcoming from Bantam Dell.

Greg currently lives in San Diego, where he obssesses about martial arts classes, coffee, Moleskine notebooks, and giant squid.
