I decided to go public with the news that I was pregnant, and posted it in the "Crummy life" topic of the Rumormill. I told everyone about my prior miscarriages, and about how much I wanted to keep this baby.

Wow. I could not believe the outpouring of support I got. Everyone predicted quite a prodigy for me. They told me the baby would be researching and writing in the womb... Well, I suppose that it will be attending Clarion with me, so who knows?

I read everyone's comments to Andy, who laughed and said, "Naw. The baby will acquire my talents first: belching and switching channels on the remote." (My husband has a very self-deprecating sense of humor.)

I'm doing okay, except that the last three days have been non-stop nausea. Damn. After five weeks of being nausea-free, it was very hard to return to puking everytime I smell or see anything food-related. I'm living on saltines and flat gingerale right now, and I hate saltines. Why do they call it morning sickness when it lasts all day?

Hmm
