Mood: Absurdly pleased


Phoo. I just did twenty-five minutes of cardio on a reclining bike (I love having a portable DVD player -- pop in a half-hour comedy, and you've got something to keep your attention all through the ride), and half of the Intermediate Legs workout from Mistress Krista's site (calf raises and stiff-legged deadlifts. I started to do a squat, and almost fell over, so I figured I'd come home, rest for a couple of minutes, then try them and the split squats here).

The nifty thing is, I can already see the difference in my face and arms -- the pudginess is receding slightly, and I'm starting to see the slightest hint of muscle definition (in the arms) and jawline (in the face). And I suspect that when this is all done, I'm going to have a rather round, sticky-outy butt.

Best of all, we're finally getting some much-needed rain here in Dallas, and I walked back to my apartment from the weight room through it sans umbrella. That just felt good.
