Weight: no idea Mood: Eh...
Well, the bulk of the weekend was spent sleeping like the dead -- judging from the dizziness, the buzzing muscles and the fluctuating temps, I'm assuming I had the flu. Unpleasant, but at least I spent the bulk of the time unconscious.
As I was feeling better by yesterday, however, I did 25 minutes on the reclining bike for cardio, and calf raises, straightlegged deadlifts, leg extensions and curls for weights. Yeah, I know, I know -- what about the squats and split squats? This Friday, I promise.
I've also discovered another lifesaver -- Pamprin. For reasons known only to my uterus I seem to be starting PMS about five days early this cycle, and yesterday I was ready and eager to rip people's throats out with my teeth. Add cramps, bloating and a general crappy feeling, and I figured, "I've GOT to get something to deal with this."
So, while food shopping, I stopped off in the analgesic section and picked up some Pamprin. Oh, my God, it was like night and day -- before, I was a snarling, cramping nightmare. Afterwards, it was like, "Oh, yeah, okay, not a problem, whatever." Holy crap. This is definitely being added to the medicine cabinet, believe me.
