Alison Baird recently sold two untitled sequels to the juvenile fantasy THE WITCHES OF WILLOWMERE (Penguin Canada, 2002) to the same publisher.  Her most recent adult fantasy sales are STONE OF THE STARS (Warner Aspect, scheduled for release in early 2004) and two sequels (also Warner Aspect).  The bestselling author of THE HIDDEN WORLD, THE WOLVES OF WODEN, THE DRAGON'S EGG (a Silver Birch Award Regional Winner), and WHITE AS THE WAVES (shortlisted for the IODE Violet Downey Book Award) lives in Oakville, Ontario.
